Keepsee helps families turn photos and videos from their phones into organized video journals and time capsules that can be saved, viewed, and shared with family members and loved ones.

Personal Information

When you create an account or use Keepsee, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, login information, account preferences, and payment information if you purchase a paid plan or subscription.

If you choose to invite family members or share a Keepsee video journal with others, we may collect information needed to send or manage those invitations, such as recipient names, email addresses, phone numbers, or relationship labels such as “Grandma,” “Grandpa,” or “Aunt.”

Login Information

If you sign in using a third-party service such as Facebook, Apple, or Google, we may receive basic account information from that service, such as your name, email address, profile identifier, or authentication token. We use this information only to create, secure, and manage your Keepsee account.

Photos, Videos, and Other User Content

Keepsee collects and stores the photos, videos, captions, titles, and other media or information that you choose to upload, select, sync, or submit in order to create video journals, time capsules, previews, final videos, and related media projects.

This may include images, voices, faces, dates, locations embedded in media files, and other information contained in or associated with the media you provide.

App and Usage Data

We may collect information about how you interact with our website and app, such as pages or screens viewed, features used, upload activity, video creation status, device type, browser type, app version, crash reports, and general performance data.

We use this information to operate, improve, troubleshoot, and secure Keepsee.

Payment Information

If you make a purchase, payment information may be collected and processed by third-party payment providers or app store platforms. Keepsee does not store full credit card numbers unless explicitly stated by the payment provider.

How We Handle Your Photos and Videos

Your photos and videos are personal family memories. We use them only to provide and improve the Keepsee service.

We do not sell your photos, videos, or family media.

We do not use your private family media for advertising.

We do not share your private family media with other users unless you choose to invite contributors, share a video, or send access to a recipient.

Keepsee may process your uploaded media using automated tools, cloud services, or human review when needed for support, troubleshooting, quality control, safety, or video production purposes. Access to user media is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who need access to operate or support the service.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We may share limited information with trusted service providers who help us operate Keepsee, including providers for:

• Cloud hosting and storage

• Video processing and rendering

• Authentication and account login

• Payment processing

• Email, text, or notification delivery

If you delete your account or request deletion of your data, we will delete or de-identify your personal information and user content unless we are required or permitted to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or operational reasons.

Some deleted information may remain temporarily in backups or system logs before being fully removed through our normal deletion processes.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including the right to request a copy of your personal information, request deletion, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where consent is required.

You may also be able to update some account information directly inside the Keepsee app.

Delete My Keepsee Data

In your request, please include the email address associated with your Keepsee account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the deletion request.

When your deletion request is processed, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account, including account information, login data, uploaded media, video journals, and related user content, unless we are required or permitted to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or operational reasons.

Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

If you signed in to Keepsee using Facebook and would like to delete the data associated with your Keepsee account, you can request deletion by emailing: support@keepsee.com

Delete My Keepsee Data

Please include the email address associated with your Keepsee account.

You can also remove Keepsee from your Facebook account by following these steps:

1. Go to your Facebook account.

2. Open Settings & privacy.

3. Select Settings.

4. Go to Apps and Websites.

5. Find Keepsee.

6. Select Remove.

Removing Keepsee from Facebook disconnects Facebook Login from your Facebook account. To fully delete your Keepsee account data, please also contact us at support@keepsee.com or use any account deletion option available inside the Keepsee app.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information and user content. These measures may include encryption, secure cloud storage, access controls, authentication systems, monitoring, and other security practices.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Keepsee is designed for parents, guardians, and family members to create and preserve family memories. Children may appear in photos and videos uploaded by users, but Keepsee is not intended for children to create accounts without appropriate parental or guardian involvement.

International Users

If you use Keepsee from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using Keepsee, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different privacy laws than your country of residence.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may notify you through the app, website, email, or other appropriate means.

Your continued use of Keepsee after an updated Privacy Policy is posted means you accept the updated policy.
